algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello everyone, I have been trying to get apattern on to a mesh but I got some issues, the pattern is already done with 4 different shapes and I dont know how to dress up this mesh with this pattern.

well...it's fairly hackular...but you were pretty close. essentially I've just created a surface morph, using your base surfaces and mapping them to the target surfaces. It's a good thing you developed your mesh with quads, as each quad can them become a NURBS uv space to map onto. I didn't really evaluate your base surface selection logic...looks like some kind of solar response/attractor thingy...so I just applied them randomly. But you should be able to rework that segment to match your logic.
If I were to develop this myself, instead of morphing, I'd try to develop my component dynamically in the space itself...so instead of generating four different types, you could have a more complete gradient effect. But you're super close with this approach...good luck.
here's more along the lines of what I was talking about...still really hacky, but instead of mapping a component it builds it right on each quad.
David thanks a lot, thanks for the help.
I know the firts one is too hacky and I try to get another pattern but did not work. This second file approximates much to the thing that I want.
Do you know how can I
No worries...and I didn't mean your def, I meant that my intervention was hacky!...but what more were you asking for?
thanks mate really sorry for answer you late, i was finisshing everything for my assesment.
Yes, the thing that I would like to solve out is that, how can I join the meshes that I have, if you check the different layers that I have, "test floor"I would like to join them and not get spaces between them........
Do you know how can I make this? thanks again
