How to plot the path a point would take

I have a slider input that goes from 0-360. That input goes through several component calculations and ultimately ends up putting a point in xy space.

What I want to be able to do is plot the curve that represents the path that the point would take given the entire range of the slider input. Is there an easy way to plot this curve?

Hi Norm,

Use the data recorder component under the tabs parameters->utilities, andthen connect it to an interpolated curve.

Awesome Marios... I'll give that a try. I never thought of taking it from that direction - I always thought I would have to do something at the input side rather than the output side.

Hey Marios... Thanks so much. That worked just great. Do you know of a way to retain the recorded values so that I don't have to record them every time I reload my gh file?

I've got another related problem but I'll post a separate discussion for that.

Hi,
You can use simple point component and before you save the definition , you can right-click it and internalize the points! This way the data is going to be stored after you save the file, thus available to you for the next time,
