how to model a moving camera aperature?

Do you need to model each blade? Or just something that looks like a camera apature closing?

If so, this is the rough idea of what you need to be doing.

Now you just need to model it!

If you only need something to look like its closing that makes it much easier. Let me know a few more details and we will see how the best way to move forward would be.
