how to make different shapes go along with a line and fixed at that line?

I attached the picture, that's what I did so far:

I have a bunch of rectangles and a curve, what I want to do is make these rectangles go along with the curve and will be fixed on the line(as the AutoCAD sketch), when I stretch the line, the rectangles will change automatically.

I first divided the curve, but I can't fix each rectangle to each point....:(

I changed those rectangles into boxes, the definition won't work. is there anywhere should be altered?

Oooops....excuse me,you have told me boxes.You have to add another component(Box/Evaluate Box).See the image.

one more question on this, is there any possibility that I could decide one specific box goes to one specific point? for example, I'd like the 3rd box fixed on the 1st point, and the 5th box fixed on the 2nd point.

Jim, in the file that I have previously attached (4.jpg) you can see the order of disposition on the curve (box number one on point number 1 ecc.ecc)
If you change the order when you set the geometries (as multiple geometries),it change also the disposition on the curve.
