Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Everybody,

I`m new here and I have a little problem with my GH definition

I made a curve, then I add on it three points by using Evaluate Lenght command. Now I have point no.1 point no.2 and point no.3, and I can change their location on a curve by a simple slider, and the problem is that i don`t know how to limit point no.2 (or point`s no.2 slider) so it only can move beetwen point no.1 and point no.3 (so the order of the points always will be no.1, no.2 , no.3)

Have someone had a similar porblem? Do you know how to solve it?

Many ways this could be done, here are a couple. In my mind, the simplest is to "remap" the value of the middle slider such that it is restrained to the domain/limits created by the other two sliders:

Thanks Joe!

it was very helpfull, but I wonder if you know how I can aplly this to my definition when the amount of points is bigger and I want to specify which exacly points I wont to connect with a line?

I think I get what you mean... It's just a matter of using Remap to give a relative value between the two "setting out" points. How's this?
