How to influence the Vertex number for freeform shape?

Hello everyone,

I am working on my idea about an object and I don`t know how to continue on Grasshopper.

The idea is to give the possibility to regulate the number of Face polygons (static material) on top to influence the shape (basement will be soft fabric).

Until now I created a Polygon surface and allocated to a Brep (actually I think this is already not the mistake)

At the end I will give a control of how big the triangles are, to have the option to fake or alienate the human body shape.

Unfortunately there is no definition to see.

Honestly, without a .gh file or anything attached it is really hard to help propperly.

Please attach at least .gh. The youtube-video attached is a script which changes the topology of a bottle, what you are talking about sounds to me more like a subdivison problem. Low-resolution vs. High-resolution.

Thanks for your fast reply.

To be honest I thought there is nothing to get out of the Grasshopper file because I just play around.

But your comments to the typology bottle and my subdivisionis already a good input. I will try it and post my result.
