algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi!

Hello Sch,
Posting your rhino file and a quick sketch of your idea could help people help you...
From your post we can't tell what your walls look like (are they surfaces? breps? one? many?) or what kind of holes you want (square? cylindrical? diamond-shaped? polygonal?...).
Here are the kind of holes I want and a view of the walls.. For the shape of the holes, diamond shaped would be great!
I don't know how to start. By creating a set of circles, then extrude those circles, then trim the surface with all those circles to get holes on it, then extrude my surface to get a thickness to make the wall??
Hi Sch,
I think this might help you a bit, depending on the shape of the holes and the cutting pattern ..
Check the attached image, it is something random which could be helpful ..
I don't know if someone have a better way to do this ..
Thanks a lot! I'm gonna try right now! Just, what are those yellow boxes? They are not "number slide", are they?
These are "Panel" components, which are used for custom notes and text values ..
Those aren't technically holes though, they're rotated bricks. There are quite a few threads on this subject here on the forum. You can run a search here on the right..
Indeed!! I found a grasshopper model to do rotated bricks walls.. But with this model it does rectangular wall.. I would like to apply this model to my own walls which arent rectangular.. How could i do?
I join a picture of the model i Found and a view of my walls i want to apply the model to..
Welcome to
Grasshopper
