Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear all,

I'm still working on a very long and detailed definition and I hope to publish it very soon to share with you.

Now my doubt is: how I can get spherical coordinate from collision of spheres and lines?

(rθφ).

Attached the GH def and the rhino files.

I have several spheres (with different radius) and different lines (two sizes of thickness of bars). I'd like to have the coordinate of the point in each sphere.

Thank you for the help.

I'm not sure what you are looking for, collision or intersection?
If its intersection, this will be useful.

Thank you for your reply.

I tried tonight to get the polar coordinates and it works well only if I have just a single point. I can't solve it if I had several points :(

Note: forget how I have formatted at the end, just stop at "To polar" component.

I've seen his definition, but do not understand the logic that you pursue.
You can try to explain better your definition or wait for someone else to help you.

Anyway, if you give to Internalise Data in a generic component, keep/save your geometry in GH and so avoid share the 3dm file.
