Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone, just a quick question. As the title suggests, I've got a lofted surface, derived from 12 splines through 3d space.

I'm trying to get that geometry, the lofted surface, to follow the paths of each of the splines themselves. Please ask if that explanation needs to be clearer.

It will essentially be 12 twisting/contorting columns.

I've tried using the Box Morph but, I'm not getting the results I'm looking for.

Thanks everyone.

look at this, its similar http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/sweep-2-rails-not-working...

put with frames your geometry at the endpoints of the curves  and adjust the seams than sweep1

Hi.

if you want something like the attached image, then you'll need "Jackalope" plug-in.

Nice, I didnt know about Jackalope! How cool!

Thanks for the response, Hyungsoo Kim. You're showing exactly what I am hoping for. I've got the Jacklope plugin, and have even copied the definition exactly as you've shown. Yet, it does not display any geometry. Even though the component shows no error, I'm getting a list of invalid breps (according to the panel from the output of the 'Flow' Component).

Any ideas?

Check attached if you want.

Thanks, I had both bounding boxes' W Parameter set to 0.5. Once they were 0 and 1, it worked.

Thanks alot, I'll be milling these out of foam with a hot wire 5-axis cutter. Cheers.
