how to extract the amount/number of equal values within a list?

I hav a list with say 10 different values in it, but each values have duplicates within the list itself, i want to extract the amount/number of duplicates or in another word, i want to know how many duplicates are there for each number. but i seem to have problem with doing so, cant seem to find any solution for it atm.

Sorry im quite new to grasshopper.

And than add a listlength component.

[Member Index] has a total number of items output. so you can use this in conjunction with the [Create Set] component to supply the items to search for.

Hi DeDackel, I'm on holiday at the moment so I can't play with gh to see whats going on but i thought that the N was the total of occurancesin the order of the S input. may be i was just imagining it.
