algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Kelly.
You can use the slider animation function of grasshopper to capture frames of an animation.
In Kangaroo2, just connect a slider to the 'On' input, then right click the slider and select Animate.
The range doesn't matter - it is just there to trigger kangaroo to update, and any +ve value going into 'On' will do this.
Set the frame count, file location, resolution etc then OK.
Finally, use some video software to turn these frames into an avi/mp4 etc. There are many options here, but VirtualDub is free, simple and gets the job done.
For generating animated gifs you could also use the code I posted here.
Thanks a lot Daniel! Your replies are always very helpful!!
what if i have already installed the kangaroo version 0.099? is there an alternative way to export motion for this version or i have to install necessairly the kangaroo2?
Thanks!
