algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I used the range component to create a set of lines with equal spacing. The number of lines is adjustable within the given space. What I'd like to do now is adjust the sizes of the openings between the lines so if I have 47" available I could plug in 10 for ex. for the top opening, 12 for the second etc. I thought of editing and re - using the strings from the equal spacing but they refer to the distance of the line to 0 not between each other. Is there another way to make parametric openings?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't think that was very clear.

Is there a way to create a "variable range"? The attached image shows a range based on a domain of 0 - 48 with 5 equal steps. Is there a way to get variable steps based on the same domain? For example if I wanted the first step at 12, the second step at 10, etc - based on my input? (number slider or string panel)

Thanks
