Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hallo people,

simple question....:)

- Does anyone know how to display a picture from Grasshopper to Rhino?

- how can locate it to (0,0,0)?

- how can I scale it?

- how can i crop it, in different shapes (circle, rectangle...)?

I just drag the jpeg file into Grasshopper, and didn't know what to do next...

thanks in advance!

Hi David.

Amazing, especially using the file path, a few weeks ago, I started this Discussion, (with impressive results with the help of Andrew and Florian), about controlling image sampler with a file path, but the idea of the external File Path is to play with the channels of the image sampler (colour brightness, saturation, hue). So I used split HSV, but takes a lot of time to compute. and with Florian's script the problem is the updates. I was wondering if could be possible to add a FilePath as an INPUT for the ImageSampler component, it would be easier to control parametrically when working with the same or different images.

Regards and thanks in advance.

Starting with 0.9.0015, every FilePath parameter has an auto-update option. If you enable it then it will cause Grasshopper to recompute whenever one of the files it points to changes.

wow David Amazing, and what about ImageSampler? is there a way to benefit from this?

ImageSampler already auto-updates if you want it to.

I meant to update the same image of two or more ImageSampler, with a external File Path.

Ah, then no.
