How to deform a a curve depending on a distance from a point?

Hi guys,

I have just started using grasshopper recently and I am struggling to figure out the way how to deform a curve depending on a distance from a point. Any suggestions?

Simple explanation on how to deform a curve would do :)

Either manipulate a curves Control Points and then build a new curve using the modified CPs or use a divide component to get a set of points representing the curve and then build an interpolated curve through the newly modified points.

Does anyone know how to use this script to only affect control points within a specified radius of the attractor point?
