Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello I have recently came across the "Entry Paradise Pavilion" in Germany and was wondering whether someone could point me in good direction on how to model it using grasshopper? I would like to be able to move centerpoints of the nodes as well as their thickness and length.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Hey Gerry,

I'm trying to learn RhinoMembrane in combination with grasshopper.

I was wondering if it's possible to send me the files of the example you made?

Best regards

Michiel

How can I accomplish the same type of geometry with a grid of extruded rectangles?  I created the grid of rectangles with paneling tools and then manually meshed the polysurfaces and joined the meshes but I can't seem to get the same type of forms as the people in this discussion.

How can I accomplish the same geometry with a grid of extruded rectangles?  I used paneling tools to get rectangles, manually turn them into mesh, join them, and then input into the script you've provided but I don't get a geometry anywhere close to what the people in this discussion have.

it wont work with the the geometry you have created. have you tried drawing a sketch of what you want your final result to look like? you could then draw a set of rectangular bounding boxes around that final form to get an idea of what you need to model to do this.

also it needs open faces to work with.

Nice job
