how to convert a logarythm to a linear value?

Skip the "dB" input. dB (deciBel) is just the virtual physical unit of a sound pressure level. ;)

So the Formula need  to read "10^(x/10)"

And for the actual problem at hand:

You can even skip the division by 10, as this is meant to accommodate for the "deci" in decibel.
