flip matrix component. Also, I think you should post this in discussion section (just edit the forum location) or re word it so it is answering a question, typically FAQ is posts that are of answers.
Thank you for your help and pointing out my mistake about my post. I was confused because of my first time use of such a forum.
Incidentally, I'm sorry, I think I was misunderstood because I did't make myself clear. I should have explained more thoroughly.
I'm in trouble because the order of items I treat is out of order, so I can't combine each items correctly.
I think your solution, use flip matrix component is able to replace matrix.
But I want to number out of order items like target, not flip matrix.
If it's not too mach trouble, can you show me the way to sort items.
If you mean sort item, look at FAQ about how to sort in 2d,
cheers
Thank you for your reply!
I have looked at FAQ about how to sort in 2d, however I did't get how to use sort list component well because I have just start using grasshopper...
How should I operate in grasshopper and rhino to make the source I attached below like
target.
Does it need something such guide line like FAQ about how to sort in 2d or something else?
source
target
I hope I am not making the problem overcomplicated.
What I tried to do was to sort the geometry with the coordinates of their center points.
You may rewrite the formula for different order.
In your last post, the formula should be - Y * 100 + X
(100 maybe even bigger, depending of the size of your draw)
Thank you very much, and I appreciate it!
I cannot make sure that the order of all items are correct because of the enormousness, but your suggestion is almost solving my problem concerning sort list, so I can advance my work to next step, combine each items.
Thanks!
