algorithmic modeling for Rhino
hi,
with this definition it is possible to change the domain
from the first and last point of the curve to create a subcurve.
the question is: how to change the domain of curve-inner-pts?
for example, i decided to divide the curve in 3 segments,
and wish that the outer segments are to be smaller.
any idea?
thanks in advance

Hi RWNB,
you can change the domain of an entire curve without changing it's shape, but it is not typically possible to reparameterize an arbitrary portion of the curve without changing the shape. If you want to divide based on length, then you should not be using domains to begin with. You can place points on the curve using [Evaluate Length] and then [Shatter] the curve to divide it at the custom parameters.

thanks david.
I must once again come in the grasshopper world. if i ever was in it?
it is not cpmplicated :-)
get the t parameter for each point on the curve
create domains with consec
create 3 subcurve
manipulate the starting domain of the first curve
manipulate the ending domain of the last curve
thats it :-)
can you show also the resulted curves in rhino?
