algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I want to build a Parameterization city shelters, and it will be Interactive with user, every unit modules on it could move Rhythmically.
I already finished the Modeling by rhino, and i really know nothing about how to use Grasshopper to break up the unit modules as parameterization. Is there any Grasshopper Master could help me? The result i want is looks cool and easy to build.

The question:
1,In the video,How to process parametric form?(kangaroo?)
2,After make all the things on the round surface, how to change the Tangency circle into flat polygon?
3, at last ,how to link every unit module?

wow icd always does amazing work! from the video it seems they started with circle packing on the surface which can be done with kangaroo so you may want to start with your research there...
Hi,
Have you taken a look at this video?
How to create planar Honeycomb Shells using Kangaroo´s Planarization Forces
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsbyfC2usUk
The other ethans point I believe is that if you want to fabricate this as they did at icd the panels needs to be planarized to be cut out of flat material... nice work so far though!
what do you want to do exactly? i understood, that you already have the honeycomb shells - is the connection your problem?
I Think the ICD found a way to shift from the hexagonal pattern on the spheres to the "butterfly"-Parts in the negative curvature in the middle of the Blob. I´m working on the same system, let´s keep in touch...
This might help..
maybe have a look at this video as well.

It's a lecture held by Achim Menges about this project. Maybe this can help as well.
Welcome to
