That can't be true... Let's do the ISDT (International Symposium on Delaunay Triangulation) as a competetive one.

The same intoxication here in Spain (Córdoba). SEE HERE

It has repetitive pattern in the facade. I talked some time ago with one of the lead architects (I think that he was Fuensanta Nieto) at Nieto y Sobejano office and they told me that the geometry was generated "manually" with no algorithmic logic behind o.O Voronoi is becoming a style to imitate, not a tool to solve (or propose solutions) to real problems...anyway the interior is interesting. I promise to visit it when finished (it's almost there...).

...and that's why parametric design is often called pattern design.

That project doesn't look like the worst offender...

MMMnop, there is very good architecture in the concept, detailing, construction methods, but my point was to show how a geometric tool has been translated into a trendy aesthetic resource to improve a building image and his relation with the new modern & global architecture style with any relation (deeper than its appearance) with the original mathematical/geometrical concept.

I can respect that when it generates nice buildings, but deep inside, I feel that it has been an "easy" design decision (not for the guy that drew the pattern in Autocad :P)...

There's only one rule in the Voronoi Club...

I once created a similar tiling effect when I dropped a car battery on the kitchen floor. Repeatedly.

peeps thankyou for so much of information , but I actually asked how I can make this type of PATTERN in GH not in real, I still a student want it for my design.

Well that was the point of the discussion. For what reason do you want voronoi. Is it aesthetic? Is there no more creative facade you can do that is specific to your design?

Yes there are other creative patterns, but for now my mind is stuck in voronoi pattern. Ill be using horizontal fins in between the gaps that voronoi has, it will be more likely a shading facade too.

For a start you could try the Voronoi 3D component.

hello Danny,

can you please let me know what you put in expression? what is 0.50? I am stuck over there.
