algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Or maybe the question should be "What IS trim inclusion?"...

I am trying to select the points that lie within the boundaries of the surface. Is Trim Inclusion the correct tool for this? If so, I cannot get it to work.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Sameer,

trim inclusion is a test to see whether a given UV coordinate resides on the untrimmed part of a surface.

The screenshot you posted makes no sense since you're using XYZ points to evaluate UV properties.

It is a crystal clear explanation you're giving here. But somehow I can't get it to work ...

I believe my definition is set up the same way as yours, in the image.

Any ideas?

You're testing the Trim inclusion with the untrimmed surface. Obviously all the points are on the interior. You need to test it with the original surface.

Oh! I figured it out! I used a Cull pattern instead, and it works like a charm.
