if i look at my geometry in the viewport top, then it's fine.

as soon as I use hoster setcamera, I get bad geometry!!!!!!!!

is there a way to capture the Top Viewport with the help of the setcamera component of horster?!

or any other way to capture the TOP View?!

Is there something like "target surface" instead of a target point?! Parallel Projection?! ... 

What I have tried is to put the camera location too far away and to make the camera bigger, but the geometry is still messed up ... Is there any way to get a parallel projection, because tricking perspective projection into parallel projection isn't working that good ...

If there is a special component for setting the camera in parallel projection, I'd appreciate very much, if you help me with this ...

No.

You need to look in to Parallel Projection or Lens Length to get the correct perspective. To simulate a Parallel view the Lens Length can be set Massively high something like 10000 mm and the camera location at about (0,0,20000)

I tried this, but the geometry is still messed up ... (with the focal length)

Only in the Top Viewport the geometry looks fine ... It doesn't matter what I do with the camera (focal length, z-coordinate) ... It doesn't look good ...

I have very small distanaces 0.3 cm and so on and they only look  good (for making frames) in the Top Viewport

Try this update to mySetView component.

You can select Top/Right/Front/Perspective from the value list to demonstrate the different views.

But in the end just plug the values you want into the component itself.

This is how the definition should look, but when you open it some of the components will be missing because they are newer than your version.

nice tool - only camera control tool that includes parallel view that i have seen so far.

but there is one thing if you switch the boolean to parallel view you cant "zoom" neither by changing the z coordinate of the camera location nor by changing the lens parameter.

this makes it impossible the save a certain view in parallel projection mode.

is this general rhino inconsistency? because i have seen the view port tab there is no change of the Z Location and Z Target if you zoom in parallel mode.
