Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi,

I am new to gh and im getting really confused by my definitions. I have seen on other people's videos that they use backing colours where they write their grasshopper definitions to indicate that areas of the script is related to a certain part of their model.

How do i do that? I am not even sure what to call the 'backing colours' which is why i cant figure this out myself.

Thanks

Ken

It's called a group. Ctrl+G

You can assign colours to a group via the group popup menu.

Hi Kenneth,

Select the part of the definition you want to group in a particular color, and then pres Ctrl+G on your keyboard. This will group all of them into a block of purple color (this is default color). If you want to change that color, right click on it, and in "Colour" choose appropriate RGB components for the one you like.

thanks guys!
