How do i make a Mesh into Surface (i can make it into surface but many surfaces)

Hey guys, thanks for helping.

I've made a rather complex form using kangaroo which resulted in an output of a mesh.

Now I want to fabricate it using the gridshell tool which is only applicable to surfaces.

My mesh can be converted into a surface but multiple surfaces. How can i make it into one continuous surface?
