Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I have problem with to find centre of whole grid,( not within cell of grid)

as you can see I create grid according to the size of crv which I want to apply, however, the grid is not centralizer itself on crv , so I tried to move the grid by using orient component depend on centre point of crv and grid( at this strategy I used circle fit component to find centre of grid. so it works well with single crv....

The problem is happening when I am applying multi-crv, because the circle fit component to find centre of all gird...

so image is coming out like this

but what I want to do is I draw as red line.

is there anyone know about this?

I already tried several graft and simplified and flatten.. but it didn't work properly

it would be great help for me

thanks.

Hello you can try the following.

cheers

alex

thanks you very much . it seems what I exactly want to.

Could you upload gh flie as well ? I am not keen to using these components..

thanks.

Hello

i did not save the file. don't worry i will explain. after simplify tree component you use trim tree component found in tab set/tree. then you use the explode tree component found in the same tab. then pick the two lower branches of explode tree (1;0 and 1;1), which have 80 cells each and use a bounding box found in tab surface/primitive. right click bounding box and check union box to create one bounding box for each grid. then area.

cheers

alex

thanks a lot got it !

Something like this should also work, independent of how many curves you choose.
