How do I cull intersecting lines to make a singular floor plate?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to cull the intersecting area to create a single floor plate on a tower proposal. Currently the lines intersects one another and is difficult to work with as a single floor plate.

The curves are all within a single list and has multiple items...I have difficulty understanding the concept and method of breaking up this long list into single items to work with.

any help will be greatly appreciated! thank you!!

attached files is a replication of the issues i have on my working file (file was too big to be uploaded)

Regards,

Barry

Hi Barry, though I don't understand what you are using the distances for (you override then with the Min component), here is how you can use the Region Union.

Hi Pieter,

Thank you for replying. I was trying to make the upper floors expand as it goes up and i couldnt thought of any other way to do it.

I understood my issue with my main working file now that I've seen your solution. Thanks!

Urm I realise it doesnt work for my working file is the way it has been branched. Correct me if i am wrong...but I've attached a jpeg of panel string.

What does the {8 ; 0 ; 3} and stuff means?

Thank you.

Regards,

Barry
