Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

do you know how I can divide my surface mesh into a grid? I'd like a grid instead of a single flat surface.

Thank you, I'm waiting for your answers

You know that your "single flat surface" already is a grid of 15 by 30 square faces?

thanks to your answer Hannes,

No i didn't know that but now it's ok but how can i do to see the grid ? and how can i change this grid ?

Because in Rhinoceros, i can't see the grid ... i see the surface as a single flat surface, and i would like to see the grid. Do you know how i can do that ?

In grasshopper you select Display->preview mesh edges, or hit crtl+M.  In rhino, typically you would see the mesh edges in both the shaded and wireframe views, and you can adjust your display settings to see them also in the rendered view.

If you want to extract the face curves for later use, you can do it with weaverbird's face polylines tool as well.

oh thanks a lot David ! it was simply :)

do you know how i could add new attachment point ? because there are 4 attachment points in the corners, and i would like to add one in the middle.
