algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I made an example with just two input curves:
- divide the first curve
- calculate the closest Point on the second curve
- create a line in between these pairs
- use the tangent vector to extrude that line into a surface
- rotate the extrusion direction with a graph mapper
The graph mapper needs a sequence of numbers which you can retrieve from the Division Parameters of the first curve. You Need to reparametrize the curve, so you get values from O to 1.
You can remap the numbers coming out of the graph mapper to match your desired Rotation of the surfaces. I chose a new domain from 0° to 90°.
