The main form is just a surface... Use loft, sweep1, extrude, etc... If you dont know what im talking... Then do some rhino modeling tutorials first.

Already someone told you to look for origami/folds here in the forum...
I remember saw a video/pdf tutorial to produce origami patterns like that.
