How can i get the closest building to a point?

I am having a hard time selecting the closest building to a point. My goal for this project is to select the closest building to a point and to replace the point with the closest building. Any help is much appreciated.

So far, I have the closest point.

I have attached some images of what i have so far. The closest points are attracting to the extruded cylinder.

My rhino file is to large to post here. I have figured out how to get the closest building. Now im trying to get the building centered onto the closest point. I have attached my work so far. The closest building is the definition at the very top.
