Hi,
if you want area weigted vectors you should normalize each normal first, then multiply with area value. Finally add the four vectors and you will have the average vector.
For the unweighted vector just add the four normals (normalized).
To get the inserting point for your vector you can use (c1+c2+c3+c4)/4 (c = "center" of your panel)

There is a Weighted Average component which might make this a little bit easier.
