Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

i created panelization with a mobile sunshading system. i animated the system with a slider to make visible its functioning.
here i have a little problem: when the system is open, the surfaces that compose the sunshading system (created in GH) should hide inside the panel
(created in rhino). As you can see in the picture they remain always visible....
i think there should be a simple option to modify it....but i'm unable to find it!!

thanks in advance for your help

i believe it is because of the way grasshopper defines geometry in rhino space. it seems to me that grasshopper basically overlays all its objects on the rhino geometry, so no matter what angle you are viewing from, grasshopper geometry will always appear to be in the forefront.

a quick solution i used for such an issue is to just reference all of the geometry from rhino into grasshopper and apply a shader to it. otherwise you can bake the grasshopper objects, but then you wont be able to make adjustments.

i hope this helps. there might be another solution, but this is the one i use.
