Did you copy/paste is from some other file that runs on your machine?

This error message typically means that a file you're opening contains a component which is not available on your computer, so if you copied it from a working file, that's pretty weird.

If however you're trying to open a file made on a different machine or made with a different installation of Grasshopper, then it's just a matter of installing the required GHA file to make it work.

The error message claims the problem is that you don't have he Python Script component. I can see on the image that there is one of these on the canvas already, so maybe the problem is you need a newer version of the Python GHA?

Hi,

I am pretty sure you need an updated version of GhPython (and probably Grasshopper).
A simple way to check the version of GhPython in Grasshopper is to see the lower right corner in the editor. This has to be at least 0.6.0.3, but a later version will probably be better.

Thanks,

Giulio

Hi Giulio/David,

I'm getting the same situation.
Rhino Version 5 SR3 (5.3.30426.17065, 04/26/2013)
GH 0.9.0070
GhPython 0.6.0.3

Since everything is new except Rhino... can we deduce that our shared solution is to update Rhino?

Josh
