Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!

I'm trying to export hi-res images of beautified grasshopper previews without having to bake everything before and redo all the settings.

The attached image is pure grasshopper preview and is made by using the Rhino print command. However, changing the "line width scaling" or "default line width" options within the print dialogue box does not help when I pump up the image size, so that the grasshopper preview lines in those hi-res images become extremely thin an almost invisible.

I can think of two options: piping, which will be ridiculously slow; or baking, which would be annoying for my workflow.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much!

Thomas

The only thing you can do to change the thickness of the Grasshopper curves is to change it in the Rhino View Options:

thanks David, this was exactly what I needed. I've just made a custom display mode for image export so I can easily switch between modes without having to change the options every time.

All the best from London,

Thomas

Human tools also includes a custom preview component that enables you to specify curve display lineweights dynamically.

Brilliant, will try it!

Best,

Thomas
