hi,do we really need a auto double line ?

hello all

i'm doing this auto double line script, in order to do some auto double(or multi) line to save a lot of time when drawing walls in plan (or section)

i made a demo already, but still there are lots of bugs and it's really slow.

does anyone have some idea to finish it and make it really faster

(PS. i know that VisualARQ can achieve this easily, but i really don't like the way it builds the model directly , modeling and plan drawing is 2 different things...)

Hi Xiaoyi,

Have you tried Slab command in Rhino? Does it help?

Also, I could not open your attachment. Is it a Grasshopper definition? Can you re-post that?

ahhh, i'm not trying to achieve the SLAB function, i just need double line and auto wall lines, the main part is to make them auto trim(or extend)when the lines meet each other (and maybe join). this is a rhinoscript patch, you can use it by running runscript, and read it by using scrpitedit.... i also don't want it to be in grasshopper cuz later maybe i can export it as a plugin...
