algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Dear all
I have tried today a new thing inspired by Hyungsoo Kim for surface and 2D pattern mapping, I dont know how you did it Kim but I like a lot the idea of mapping a pattern in such a way you did on any surface but I have tried another way maybe its simple and far from what you did but I have a problem and that is the ends (Edges) of the resulted geometry getting wild, I appreciate if Kim can share with us his knowledge about pattern mapping or any help regarding the attached files below will be highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,

Surface pattern mapping using one surface's u&v domain data to another is easy and you can find many relevant discussions in this forum so, take your time and search.
Here we have another method using "Copy Trim".
If you'd like to map and trim a target surface and try to give some thickness, then, this could be easy and usful.
Thanks Kim, that will be really helpful and useful, my passion in morphologies and discovering form developments and sure I will be always searching and learning from such a wonderful guys here like you.
Thanks again
