algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey guys,
I am in need of some help.
I have looked at tutorials and other discussions on hexagonal grids and attractors, but am unable to achieve what i want.
Currently i have a hexagonal grid that has an attractor which changes the scale based on how close they are to the point. ( Attached below ) This was made based on what i found on tutorials, but may be the wrong way of doing it.
Ideally i want to achieve a similar process to the packing circles in a box, but instead of circles, i would like them to be hexagons. ( http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/packing-circles-on-curved ) However the packing circles example uses a custom coded function. Is there a way of doing this without coding?
Trying to achieve this pattern in the picture show below, but will be adding rounded corners to the hexagon and off setting them inwards. This picture shows them being pushed out while the circle packing example are pulling them in, either works as i can just move the points to create the density in intended areas. both include multiple attractors.
Any help on this would be amazing and much appreciated!
