I have been using Luis Fraguada script to produce a hexagon pattern on a surface but it always leaves a gap (doesn't close).
would you know how to cover a whole cylinder-like shape with hexagon?
Hello Arthur...
I should prob rewrite this thing. Here is a nonscripted version, but it still has the gap you peak about. I thought it was an orientation issue...

Hi Arthur
Maybe this have some bearing maybe not?
In the plugin PanelingTools for Rhino I had the same problem.
The developer Rajaa Issa fixed an option in PT and it works now.
If your looking thru the Rhino Newsgroup search for "PanelingTools bug or?? http://news2.mcneel.com/scripts/dnewsweb.exe?cmd=xover&group=rhino
In the later section in the thread there is some explaining by Rajaa about the gap occurring in PanelingTools
maybe it helps someway?

Hi Arthur
No problem, you have to start a new newsgroup account.
I think its tools-accountsettings-add an account and chose account for newsgroup (or discussiongroup, or something like it), fill in "news.rhino3d.com" for the server settings and your personal settings, and I think that's it. Its been some time since I did it.
Good luck with it, its a really great place for Rhino knowledge
