Help with starting place to get 5 sided surface with attractors.

Hi there.

Anyone happen to have any info to help get me started in GH to do a 5 sided component interlocking just like the photo at this link? I'm looking to make something just like this incidentally for a concert project. The distance function to get the attractors going is great but I can get the components to stay interlocked. Many thanks in advance.

Wow, thank you so much for the link to this procedure. I suppose I could subdivide the 6 sided into two pentagons then use this algorithm to tesselate. I'll give a try.

Also, if anyone knows a simple way to unwrap it for fabrication, any hints would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help.
