algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a definition of a subdivided voronoi surface, having some issues with the lofting step. Does anyone know how to fix this or why does it happen?

curve directions used to loft are not same.

curve-flip component make two curve directions same.

perhaps if you post the files it would be much easier to help. Maybe what Kim suggested could be the problem.

your definition is so complicated. 

I make definition simple and fixed.

I think that your definition problem is loft option. 

if you connect loft option, see your problem.

but disconnect component, your definition is correct. so you should set a new loft option.

first of all, thanks for help everyone! 

I've been experimenting with different variations of the posted definitions and came to this:

 

Kim, your variant worked just fine until I increased the number of cells, it became just painfully slow, even maybe 10 times slower than mine, so I returned back to it. Nevertheless it helped a lot!

 

The next thing that I figured out is that the lags that I got with loft depended directly from fillet amount, check the image below.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I've worked a bit more with the definition and got one problem:

what i wanted to get is the variable normal offset for the voro cells centers, but when connecting that part of def. the program just hangs. I think that might be because of the SrfMorf that I'm using, but I'm not sure. 

 

Any ideas?
