Help with loft and extrusion.

I am trying to make a surface that contains a module geometry that has an adjustable opening in the center of the diamond. I want the center openings to be to varied in size based on distance from a point. I have been working on this all day and have no idea why when I preview:ON things the loft starts to go haywire, and I am pretty sure it has something to do with my short/longest/cross list settings. I am also including the rhino and grasshopper files.
