algorithmic modeling for Rhino

So far I had good results mapping a voronoi to a curved surface and trimming the surface so that it has voronoi "holes" or windows in the final scheme of this facade. I have been trying to extrude this surface to give it some wall-like thickness to no avail. I tried the extrude component to no avail, I tried the extrude component after evaluating the surface to no avail as well. What I am exploring now is offsetting the surface the desired thickness amount and then trying to loft the individual curves that make up the openings.

Is there a simpler way to extrude this trimmed surface so that it has a specific thickness?

Thanks a bunch.

Solved!

Turn the surface into wireframe brep, repeat for offset surface, graft data on each wire preb component, use the loft component on each brep to create the necessary loft on the window holes closures!

Wow, I'm glad you posted your solution to this. The use of wireframe brep got me past a brick wall I've been stuck on forevvver trying to implement novel ways of panelization.
