Help with directional vectors

You sure you don't want to use the Field components to represent your vector fields?

Thanks for the reply. Lets say I have a boundary curve, how do i repel or pull the lines away from that boundary curve always making sure there is an offset between the edge and the end of a given line.

I've made some adjustments but I'm still racking my brain trying to figure how to have the curves pull away from the boundary surface. Additionally, I want to add a min and max offset size to the filleted rectangles that get smaller or larger in relation to the attractors.

Any suggestions anyone?
