help with collecting data from microscribe and exporting to drive cnc in real time

I need to collect data from a microscribe digitizer in real time and stream it into GH. Then I wish to apply some functions to it and have it control a CNC in near real time. I was just hoping someone out there may have some ideas.

At the moment my idea is to do this - for every block of XYZ info save as file number # In this file there would be a subroutine for the CNC which calls the next file which would be file number## and would have the next subroutine call along with the next block of info. How do I go about doing this.
I've tried to dripfeed a file with data streaming into it from GH but the CNC can't see any of the appended info. It only sees the contents of the file at the moment it was sent.
This is issue 1.which is how to send a series of files out of GH
Issue number 2 is what component might I be able to use to collect data from the microscribe in real time. I can bring the data from the microscribe into GH using the panel component but that doesn't really work becaue you have to hit enter to accept the data once collected and I need it to stream as it's being collected.

Should I be using Firefly for this kind of thing?

Please help

Did you manage to get the arms data into GH?

I am trying to do something similar.

I would like to use the digitizing arm to control the input of a simulation, Where the "pen" (the last bit of the arm) represents a vector in GH.
