the yellow lin is what i want to draw

(the yellow line was created in rhino)

Hi leeuack,

the file you posted uses a PanelingTools component which I do not currently have installed. also the bottom most curve parameter references an object which is not in the 3DM file.

However I wonder if what you are after is merely the yellow line based on the diagonal line and a number of steps. If so, this can be done a lot simpler.

actually what i want to do is make stairs with 2 parameter; height crv and length crv

because at the initial process of design building i just need simple stairs.

anyway thnk you so much David.

p.s : how do i pick a point from point list?

this is what i try to do....T..T

Digital toolbox has some good introductory videos to get you started.

Specifically for this question you want the 'list item'.

wow...thanks Nick

If you connect the end-points of those two curves and feed the resulting line into the algorithm I posted you'll get that result.
