Help! How to Remove crease/irregular mesh surface

Hi everyone,

I have searched the GH form extensively and cannot find a solution to this problem - I am a new user of GH so maybe I missed the terminology or just didnt apply the method properly. Anyway I have explained below -

I have made voronoi and there are creases in the surface mesh. It looks like it could be tiny cells (see pics attached). The other thing I noticed is some of points taper into a very thin point or have an irregular edge which is very thin.

I have no idea how to fix this, I have tired many methods but cant seem to get them to work. I am completely stuck.

Could you guys please tell me how to:

1. Remove the creases/tiny cells in the surface finish of the voronoi

2. Is there anything I can do about the tapered and/or irregular edges - see photos attached

I want to 3D print this, that's why I need to fix the tapered edges and its a present so I would like it to have smooth finish.

I have attached the Rhino file and GH script.

Thank you for your help.

Cheers

Hi.

You can ignore the red one.

And you'll need "MeshEdit" Plug-in.

Wow thats great!

Thank you so much!

It looks much better and much tidier now.

I have the MeshEdit plugin - I just wasn't applying it properly. :\

Could I ask one more question, is it possible to remesh it like you have done and keep the

top and bottom part following the shape of the voronoi? e.g. the top and bottom are a little bumpy looking.

Thank you so much! :)

P.s. love your profile photo, such a cute dog!

Hello again Hyungsoo,

Could I please ask your advice one more time.

Is it possible to keep the curved edges at the top and bottom? So that the edge is not straight but flowing?

Is another component needed to be added or is it a setting that needs to be adjusted?

Thank you in advance, you are a fantastic help for people on this forum =)
