HELP, grasshopper crashes everytime i use python.

Hi, i try to use python in grasshopper but from a week, it crashes everytime. I already try every single version of python avalible, but keep crashing.

I also reinstall rhinoceros, but still when i try to put the python component in the canvas crashes.

Any idea?

OK; this means that there is a problem with Python in general for your Rhino installation.

Did you by any chance install an independent version of IronPython? We discovered some time ago that some releases cause conflicts. Could you try uninstalling any independent IronPython installs?

Hello

had the same problem. Giulios advice is right. I uninstalled IronPython 2.7.6.3 that came with a photogrammetry tool and everything in Rhino is ok now. Problem is the other tool no longer works.

Did you try installing a newer version of IronPython? Maybe that will fix the problem. An option could be that if you pick the exact same version as Rhino, then there should be no conflicts.

i am finishing some deliverables, so for now i am bypassing some automation through python scripts, doing some steps manually. its more important atm that rhino does not crash with python components.

once finished i will have to find a way to make the tool work with the already installed and working python version. i will ask arc-team's help on this.

its not urgent, but whenever you get a chance to look at it, this is what messed up rhino-python.

Since i installed the 64bit package the problem started. funny thing is version 2.7 is not in the package.
