Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I was wondering how these guys do this thing in the video. How they get these straight lines to merge together, like point attractors but with lines. Is is just a matter of creating random points and telling the lines to bend away from them? I have no idea

Thanks

Something like this? With kangaroo is not hard...In this video "hairs" atrack each other too but could be deactivated...

Best Regards.

Thanks! This is great stuff. I have had a look at the thread you created and have done this. What I want to do is have all the connecting lines attract to each other. When I do this with the base lines (the ones you created it works) but when I get the end points and connect those lines to every other point it doesnt?

What I am trying to achieve is what Shampoo does at about 36 seconds in of there video that I posted above

Thanks for any help in advance

Have you seen the demonstration file included with the Kangaroo download?

Yes I did thank you. What I want to do is do what the example file does but to lines created through cross-referencing them.

Like the SS below, although I get an error.

Note: The file attached does work, It may just take a few minutes to compute (depending on the speed of your computer). So just wait for it to load
