Grouping curves according to coplanarity

I am extracting 2D curves from a 3D model and preparing them for CNC milling. I want to group the curves according to coplanarity, because the all the curves on one plane are associated with one piece of material (and therefore one series of toolpaths).

I found some discussions on dispatching curves according to plane here. Seems useful for finding everything that's on ONE plane, but how to do with an indefinite number?
