Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody, I am using Grasshopper to  design furniture, (Added document), I'm trying to do a simple analysis of the forces within the structure. I want to be able to know the compressive and tensile forces to see which parts are under the most stress and need to be reforce, I also want to know if this chair could support the weight that we want. ¿ Could i do that with grasshopper or any of the plug-ins?

Thanks a lot for your help

You can use a plugin like Karamba for this, but it has a pretty steep learning curve.

Looking at the image of the chair right now, I would say you could probably sit an elephant on that and it wouldnt break. It looks like its made from something like 15mm plywood. I mean you have chairs made in a similar way that are made from 5mm corregated cardboard and are strong enough.
